Allstaff Office Services Division require a Document Controller for client based in Barrhead.
Candidates who have a construction background would be of preference however this is not essential. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the Document control process and be familiar with cloud storage systems.
After the initial period of training, this role will be based on a hybrid model. Hours of work are: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm
The role:
- Uploading documents to Common Data Environment using both extranet and desktop platforms
- Assigning naming conventions to documents to ensure compliance with procedures and standards
- Assigning metadata as required/requested
- Managing document registers to identify and control documents for upload to the Common Data Environment
- Liaison with project teams directly to clarify points of ambiguity
- Reporting progress updates to the Support Services Manager
