Our manufacturing division is looking for food technologists to work close to the city centre. A basic understanding of food science, fermentation processes and food-grade production is required for this role.
Main Duties include:
- Working within the shift development team monitoring and controlling continuous fermentations, collecting material into food-grade bags, weighing, sealing hygienically and freezing.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the food-grade facility.
- Maintaining all documentation in accordance with our quality management system.
Training will be provided. The successful individual will be enthusiastic, punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.
Hours of work:
You will work 8 hour shifts, which will include day, back and night shifts on production weeks with days as required on non-production weeks.
This role is a 6 month contract.
Salary: Up to £20,000
