Glasgow or Glaschu (meaning Green Glen) if you’re a Highlander like me, once the beating heart of industrial Scotland still booms with national and local businesses.
As the new guy in Allstaff’s industrial division I am working hard not only giving people the opportunity to work but helping businesses get the best candidates out there.
On a daily basis I am contacting companies in the Glasgow area letting them know the service Allstaff can provide along with keeping our many existing clients updated. As a business we pride ourselves in going the extra mile at every opportunity which is something all my team mates do naturally.
Inbetween this I am interviewing and helping candidates find work. If you see one of our jobs online please apply with your CV and I will give you a call. I will schedule you in for a suitable time and get you registered so we have all your details on the system and we can discuss what you have done and what you would like to do. All I ask you to bring is ID and any additional certificates that will make you stand out e.g. CSCS, fork lift license etc. It’s that easy!
3 roles that I have on at the moment are:
Reach Forklift Driver / Stock Controller in Hamilton on a part-time basis. Looking for a candidate with a proven track record to hit the ground running and manage a busy warehouse of international goods.
General Factory Operator in Thornliebank preparing large and small components before coating/painting. Must be able to work to fine detail and have good manual dexterity. This is an early/back rotational shift pattern with the earliest start being 6am and the latest finish 11.30pm.
Machine Operator in Hillington loading material into moulding machine, removing moulds also cutting and trimming for general manufacturing. Must be physically fit with previous machine shop experience.
If you are looking for a new challenge or maybe a company wanting more information, please feel free to call myself or anyone at Allstaff anytime.
