Powder Coater

Allstaff Manufacturing Division seek a Powder Coater for our client based in Hamilton. This is a permanent role paying from £14.00 per hour depending on experience.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the finishing process of various products, ensuring high-quality coatings that meet stringent standards.
This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, or fabricating as necessary.
• Operate powder coating equipment and apply coatings uniformly to various components.
• Assemble and disassemble parts as required for the coating process.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the coating process.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the warehouse environment.

Skills

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to fabrication and assembly tasks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Basic maths skills for measuring materials accurately during the coating process.
• Experience in welding or painting is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work consistently.
