Yard Operative

Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Yard Operative.
We’re currently supporting our client in (ML2) with the recruitment of reliable and practical Yard Operatives for an initial 8-week assignment, with the potential for extension. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone with a general handyman background who enjoys practical, physical work and takes pride in delivering quality results.
Looking for Yard Operatives (would suit general handyman / person!)
Initially for 8 weeks, may be extended and possibly require one more.
Refurbishing portacabin toilets / shower units. Strip and build / take out and replace as required.
Candidate would need to have basic labouring / joinery / plumbing skills. Ideally used to installing stub partitions. Needs to be physically fit. CSCS not required.
Also, must have driving licence – max 6 points.
Experience Required
• Minimum 12 months’ experience working in a yard or workshop environment
• Practical experience in labouring, basic joinery and plumbing tasks
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role
