Allstaff Office Division are looking for an Accounts Assistant to work with our client based in the outskirts of Glasgow City Centre. This role is for around 4-8 weeks.
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant to join a well established company where they will develop and learn new skills.
Job duties are as follows:
- Liaise with suppliers regarding queries, discrepancies and payments
- Check costs and deliveries with various departments
- Monthly statement reconciliation of all supplier accounts
- Allocating cheques
- Preparing payment runs
- Ensuring all payments are processed correctly and on time.
- Process sales ledger duties when required
- Electronic filing
- General admin duties
Candidates must be confident with all Microsoft Packages, have excellent organisational skills and have the ability to work well both independently and within a team.
The role is within a very busy accounts office therefore it is important that candidates have excellent attention to detail.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.
