Taylor’s dream job was to have a sport related career so how did he end up recruiting? Find out more about our newest industrial recruiter to join the Paisley Team…
What was your dream job as a child?
Growing up I had a strong passion for Football, and anything sport related. I dreamt of having a job that would allow me to follow that passion each and every day.
What has your career journey been like so far?
My career started off with a part time temp job over the Christmas period in retail. I then tried my hand at Joinery before quickly realising that it wasn’t for me. Most of my career has been spent working in Customer Service, I have 6 years of experience within this sector and have only recently moved into recruitment. I am enjoying the new challenges it has brought and I’m looking forward to what it is yet to bring.
Have you always wanted to be in recruitment?
I am still very new to recruitment, but I have enjoyed every aspect of it so far. I am keen to keep learning and developing within the recruitment sector.
What has been your biggest success (personal or work related)?
I would say my biggest success is finally getting on to the property market with my Girlfriend. It had been particularly difficult ever since the lockdowns had begun but to finally get everything sorted was a great feeling.
How are you finding working at Allstaff?
I am just approaching 3 months with Allstaff and I have loved every minute of my time with the company. Everybody has been very welcoming and supportive. It has really helped me settle in and feel like one of the team.
I don’t think I could single out one movie, but I am a big fan of the Harry Potter series.
Tough to single out one but I would say my go to feel good song would be Mary J Blige- Just Fine.
Favourite place you have travelled to UK or abroad?
Florida. It was a family trip when I was younger, and it is the only time I have been to America. I would love to go back to America and travel more.
What words would you use to describe yourself?
Friendly, helpful, genuine, easy going, understanding.
