Allstaff Manufacturing Division require an Engineering Draughtsperson on either a temporary or permanent basis.
Our client are based in the heart of Inchinnan and operates a flexible working week to cover 37.5 hours Monday to Friday.
Experience Required;
Experience in 2D & 3D CAD Design packages is essential e.g. (preferably Solidworks/ AutoCAD/ Inventor/ Pro E)
- Understanding of drawing standard BS8888
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel and Outlook
- Have good communication skills and be prepared to work
- within a dynamic and progressive team
- Pro-active and positive work moral and attitude
- Have good time management and organisational skills
- whilst working on several projects
The role:
- Prepare accurate and timely detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of components for purchase or manufacture
- Prepare accurate and timely layout arrangement drawings of product designs to specific customer requirements
- Prepare and maintain accurate Bills of Material
- Be conversant with current good engineering practice for component manufacture and be able to accurately and effectively incorporate these into day to day tasks
- Assist other departments within the company by providing technical information and or assistance when required
- Assist in the maintenance of accurate, effective and up to date drawing office procedures
This is an excellent role for a graduate, fresh out of university or someone with 1-2 years experience
