Marketing Executive – Social & Content

Allstaff Marketing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Marketing Executive – Social & Content.

We are recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing business based in Renfrew. This is a permanent, full-time, fully office-based position offering the opportunity to join an established and growing team.

The role is hands-on, with social media and content creation at its core, alongside involvement across the wider marketing mix. You will work across multiple audiences and channels, helping to develop brand presence, communicate identity and support commercial growth.

We are looking for someone who can bring creative ideas to the table and turn those ideas into well-planned, well-executed marketing activity. You will take ownership of your work, manage competing priorities and keep your line manager informed of progress, results and any issues requiring attention.

Location: Renfrew

Hours: 9.00am–5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am–4.00pm Friday

Contract: Permanent, full time, fully onsite

The Role

•  Contribute to the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy.
• Plan, create and execute monthly content calendars across multiple channels.
•  Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring marketing activity is prioritised and delivered on time.
•  Create engaging content for email campaigns, with a focus on driving engagement and revenue.
• Develop and execute creative, commercially focused campaigns.
• Communicate campaign and digital marketing updates to key internal and external stakeholders.
•  Conduct ongoing market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities across social media, email and wider digital marketing channels.
•  Develop creative content plans tailored to target audiences, objectives and tone of voice.
•  Grow and develop social communities, identify relevant influencers and support influencer campaigns and collaborations.
•  Plan, manage and monitor promotional activity and paid social campaigns, using performance data to optimise results.
•  Conduct competitor and market analysis and turn findings into practical recommendations.
• Identify new opportunities and ideas that could strengthen brand awareness, engagement and commercial performance.

What We’re Looking For

You will ideally have a minimum of 24 months’ experience in a marketing, social media or content-focused role and be ready to take the next step in your career.
You will be someone who:

• Has strong visual storytelling skills and a portfolio of previous work.
•  Has proven experience creating and managing content for social media and digital channels.
•  Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting and proofreading ability.
• Has a good understanding of social media platforms and best practice for creating engaging content.
•  Has experience producing and managing paid social advertising campaigns.
•  Is proficient in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar software.
• Has experience using AI tools to support content creation and wider marketing activity.
•  Has excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
•  Is confident working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
•  Takes a proactive approach and is comfortable bringing forward new ideas and recommendations.
•  Has a genuine interest in brands, social media and the hair and beauty industry.

Experience within the hair, beauty, cosmetics, fashion or lifestyle sectors would be advantageous.
