Allstaff Office Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Service Administrator.

Our client in High Blantyre are a well-established and professional organisation and are seeking a Service Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis.

Job Description

The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Review job sheets to prepare accurate cost estimates for repair and maintenance works.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather relevant data on labour, materials, and equipment required for each job.
  • Produce clear and competitive cost breakdowns, identifying potential risks and recommending cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain and update estimation records to ensure consistency and accuracy across quotations.

Essential Criteria

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in cost estimating.
  • The ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach with a willingness to contribute effectively to a short-term assignment.
  • Confidence in interpreting technical documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Experience with estimation software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Previous customer service or business development experience is desirable.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.

Hours: 40 hours per week, generally between 8:30am – 5pm with 30 min lunch. Flexibility available.

Salary: £13.50 per hour
