Manufacturing Operator

Allstaff manufacturing division are currently looking for Manufacturing Operators to join our clients night shift team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling and quality checking materials during the manufacturing process, ensuring that targets are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Shift pattern for the role will be Night shift but the training for the role will be carried out on day shift or back shift.

Night shift hours: 10pm – 6am Sunday to Thursday

Early shift hours: 6am – 2pm Monday to Friday

Back shift hours: 2pm – Midnight (12am) Monday to Thursday

Pay rate: £13.40 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow production plans and schedules to ensure targets are met
• Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet required specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve production line issues
• Complete required documentation and record keeping
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility to work on an early and backshift rotational shift basis
• Excellent communication skills
