QA Inspector

Allstaff Engineering Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of QA Inspector.

A highly respected precision engineering business is seeking an experienced QA Inspector to join their Inspection team based in Cambuslang.
As QA Inspector, you will perform inspections and quality checks on materials, components and finished products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications, supporting the delivery of high-quality products and compliance with relevant regulations.
QA Inspector Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of mechanical or manufactured components
• Use precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres, gauges, and CMMs
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed QA records
• Report non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Support internal audits and participate in continuous improvement activities
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety guidelines and company procedures
• Any other duties as required
QA Inspector Skills & Behaviours:
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good written and verbal communication skills
QA Inspector Qualifications & Experience:
• Previous experience as a QA/QC Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Time served is desirable
• Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques and tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Full time, permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Once fully trained, you’ll move onto a three-shift rotation, covering early, back and nightshifts
