Quality Control Technician
Location: Inchinnan, Renfrewshire
Employment type: Full time, permanent. Flexibility and availability for shift work essential.

Working Hours
Week 1: 6:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday
Week 2: 2:00pm–12:00am (midnight), Monday to Thursday

The Role
As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, safety and consistency of our products. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tests on raw materials, bulk products and finished goods, ensuring compliance with internal specifications, customer requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct bulk quality control checks, including physical and chemical testing.
• Perform microbiological sampling and testing of bulk and finished products as well as factory equipment.
• Carry out finished product QC assessments in a busy factory environment, against agreed customer specifications and expectations.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and timely reporting of results.
• Support investigations of non-conformances, deviations, or out of specification results.
• Maintain and calibrate lab and specific factory equipment and uphold good laboratory practice standards.
• Work closely with manufacturing, production, and technical teams to ensure seamless quality control processes.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience of working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing/production environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of GMP and ISO standards is desirable.
• Flexibility to cover shifts as needed across bulk QC and production QC teams.

Experience Required

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical production environment is essential.
• Ideally 24 months of relevant industry experience
