Allstaff Warehouse Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Warehouse Operations Manager.

This is a permanent role based in Inchinnan, Renfrewshire.

Hours of Work are Monday to Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm, Friday 8:30am–4:00pm and this role will be based on site daily.

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse operation supporting over 30 production lines and the global distribution of our products. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining efficient material flow, developing high-performing teams, and driving continuous improvement within a demanding manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
  • Lead all warehouse activities including goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
  • Ensure uninterrupted material flow to support production and customer delivery requirements.
  • Optimise warehouse layout, capacity utilisation and operational efficiency.
Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy
  • Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through robust stock control processes.
  • Manage stock audits, cycle counts and discrepancy investigations.
  •  Ensure full product traceability and regulatory compliance.
Leadership & People Management
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of 40+ warehouse personnel.
  • Drive a high-performance culture through clear objectives and accountability.
  • Support recruitment, succession planning and employee development.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  •  Monitor operational KPIs and deliver measurable performance improvements.
Health, Safety & Compliance
  •  Promote a strong health and safety culture across all warehouse operations.
  •  Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and audit standards.
  • Implement safe working practices and risk management processes.
Systems & Process Management
  • Manage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.
  •  Maintain accurate operational reporting and warehouse procedures.
  • Use data and analysis to support operational decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality and Logistics teams.
  • Align warehouse operations with production schedules and customer demand.
  • Support business growth, new product introductions and operational projects.
Performance & KPI Management
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs including inventory accuracy, OTIF performance and labour efficiency.
  • Manage departmental budgets and cost control initiatives.
  • Provide regular performance reporting to senior leadership.
Skills & Experience required
  •  Proven Warehouse or Operations Management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong inventory management and stock accuracy expertise.
  •  Experience leading large teams within fast-paced, high-volume operations.
  •  Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, WMS and ERP systems.
  •  Must have a strong FMCG manufacturing background.

Salary: £50,000–£55,000
