Allstaff’s Manufacturing division is recruiting an Installation Planning Coordinator in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire. You’ll schedule labour and resources, keep the live planning board and client portals accurate, and act as the customer point of contact to ensure every installation is site-ready and delivered safely. Your coordination underpins on-time delivery, smooth handovers, and high customer satisfaction—directly supporting the company’s growth and service commitments. This permanent, full-time role suits a calm, solutions-focused organiser who builds strong relationships and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule labour for installations (advance planning and short-notice cover where required).
  • Plan and brief installers; coordinate workload, equipment hire, site access and related logistics.
  • Maintain “live” planning systems; update customer order stages throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Keep client portals accurate and up to date.
  • Enforce internal procedures: site checklists, service requests, debriefs, commissioning sheets, bills of materials.
  • Raise purchase orders for subcontractors, hire equipment, and site security.
  • Serve as the customer point of contact; receive and action queries on planned/outstanding works.
  • Verify site readiness and customer requirements before installation.

Requirements

  • Strong organisation, prioritisation, and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build stakeholder relationships.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a clear sense of urgency.
  • Solid IT skills (Word, Excel to intermediate level, email).
  • Self-motivated and resilient under pressure.
  • Own transport to attend site as required.

Hours & Pay

  • Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:30
  • Salary: From £28,000 per year DOE
