Machine Operators

Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Machine Operators for a sustainable packaging manufacturer based in Springburn, Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the manufacturing industry, as well as experienced Machine Operators seeking their next opportunity in a busy production environment.

Our client is looking for reliable, motivated individuals to operate paper bag manufacturing and finishing machinery, helping to maintain efficient production and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating production machinery.
• Loading materials and ensuring production lines run efficiently.
• Monitoring machine performance and maintaining consistent product quality.
• Supporting the smooth running of paper bag manufacturing and finishing processes.
• Working safely within a fast-paced production environment.
• Demonstrating flexibility to meet production requirements, including overtime when required.

Experience Required:

• Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or high-speed production environment would be advantageous.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work the required shift patterns and additional overtime.

Working Hours:

Day Shift:

• Monday to Thursday: 7am – 4pm
• Friday: 7am – 1pm
• Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour

Night Shift:

• Monday to Thursday: 9pm – 7am
• Pay Rate: £15.79 per hour

Additional pay enhancements are available for overtime.
