Metal Worker

Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Metal Worker.

Location: Bridgeton, Glasgow

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operator to join our client in Bridgeton. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and effectively. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and materials. The hours of work are Mon-Thur 8.15am-4.45pm and Fri 8.15am-1215pm.

Duties

• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Fabricate components using hand tools and machinery, adhering to safety protocols.
• Assemble parts and products according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with tooling, hand tools, and mechanical processes is essential.
• Metalworking experience is desirable.
