New Product Development Executive

Allstaff Marketing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of New Product Development Executive with our client based Inchinnan, Renfrewshire.

This is an on site, permanent role and hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:30/9:00am – 5:00/5:30pm, Friday 4:00pm finish

The role:

The primary function of this role will be to work on developing new products from concept to launch alongside continuously improving existing products that our client manufactures.
This position provides tremendous opportunities for the right candidate who will join an energetic team working at a rapid pace. The role would suit an enthusiastic and resourceful candidate who is self-motivated and committed to delivering new and innovative products to market.
Applicants must have previous experience working in a similar or related New Product Development or product-based role.

Responsibilities

· Actively managing the development of new products for assigned projects
· Prioritising and responding to customer demands
· Sourcing new product ideas to support customers and brands
· Managing the testing and reporting of new and existing formulas
· Creating comprehensive product, packaging, and labelling briefs
· Effectively communicating project objectives with key stakeholders
· Demonstrating strong negotiation skills and responsibility for product costing
· Maintaining a rolling project list with accurate and detailed progress

Experience Required

· Able to manage and progress multiple projects simultaneously
· Happy to work in a collaborative team environment as well as independently
· Capable of managing a full workload and working well under pressure
· Results orientated and proactive in problem-solving
· Able to deliver an exceptional level of quality in their work
· Proficient in communicating clearly, diplomatically, and professionally, both written and verbally
· Enthusiastic about bringing new ideas alive with commercial success
