Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Senior Yields Analyst based with a large food manufacturing company in Glasgow.

Working Hours: 37.5 hour working week, flexible between 8am–5pm or 8am–4:30pm

This is a pivotal role within our clients business, therefore we are seeking a motivated and driven candidate who can work on-site, 5 days per week. Candidates should have a keen eye for detail, be motivated and driven with a continuous Improvement mindset. Someone who can identify a problem and pro actively resolve it.

The Role

The Senior Yields Analyst will play a key role in analysing production yields, identifying inefficiencies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse production data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for yield improvement
  • Work closely with production and operational teams to investigate performance issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and cost reduction
  • Identify root causes of yield losses and implement corrective actions
  • Produce reports and present findings to key stakeholders
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business objectives

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes

Experience Required:

  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset with a focus on identifying and resolving root causes
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to take initiative
  • Experience working closely with production teams and building strong working relationships
  • 24–36 months relevant experience
