Allstaff Warehouse Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Material Administrator based Hillington, Glasgow. This is on a temporary basis and may become permanent.

Hours of Work: 0745 – 1645 Mon – Thu / 0745 – 1300 Fri (a level of flexibility may be required to suit the business needs and during stock take periods)

One hour break Monday to Thursday and 15 minute break on Friday.

Job Description:

  • Controlling stock movements to and from production
  • Ensuring stock entering and leaving is accurate at all times
  • Checking, locating and scanning raw materials to production
  • Checking, locating and scanning finished goods from production
  • Checking, locating and scanning excess raw materials to the lay down area CPXXX
  • Stock accuracy in the production locations CPXXX, CPYYY, CPZZZ
  • Ensuring that the Production Reconciliation sheets are accurate before reconciling stock from the Access database
  • Stock accuracy after reconciling stock
  • Checking any stock discrepancies through the production process
  • Reporting any discrepancies or issues to the Production Manager
  • Liaising with the customer service teams to resolve any stock issues

Minimum training Requirements:

  • Hygiene
  • Good Housekeeping
  • Quality
  • IT Skills
  • Scanner Training

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 24 months’ experience in a materials administration, stock control, inventory or similar warehouse environment
  • Experience of controlling and reconciling stock movements within a warehouse or production environment
  • Experience using handheld scanners and stock management systems
  • Ability to accurately check product codes, batch numbers and quantities
  • Experience investigating stock discrepancies and supporting accurate inventory records
  • Confident liaising with production, operations and customer service teams to resolve stock issues
  • Good IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Forklift licence an advantage.
